우선 객실이 너무 좁아서 침대하나 들어가면 딱이도 여행가방 풀만한 공간이 겨우 나노는 정도이고, 화장실이 있긴한데 뭔가 ㅋ꿈꿈헌 냄새나서 창문을 열었더니 거리는 안보이고 건물 중심의 좁은 공간이 보임. 객실 청소는 잘 되있었지만 환기가 잘안되는 곳을 싫어해서.. 결국 1박 손해보고 딴데로 옮겼음.

Photos do not correspond to reality. Very dirty. The smell of dampness in the room. They didn’t want to cancel the reservation. We rented another hotel and lost money. Please refund minus commission.

Personale poco accogliente e poco cordiale. Carina l'accoglienza con gli asciugamani a forma di cigno e cuore, ma la richiesta di avere altri asciugamani per necessità ci è stata negata. Campioncini di saponi presenti all'arrivo ma al giorno successivo scomparsi anche quelli che ci erano avanzati e quindi alla richiesta di averne almeno uno per poterci lavare ci ha accontentato di mala voglia, dandocene comunque solo uno. Pulizia non ottimale e lenzuola vecchie e rovinate. Stanza troppo rumorosa. Unica cosa positiva a due passi dalla metro Noviciado.

O hotel é muito bom, quando você chega é estranho, pois não há uma recepção especificamente... é um quartinho pequeno (o espaço é pouco), mas pode ficar tranquilo pois o espaço da acomodação é bom, a localização é muito boa, a limpeza é ok, o meu quarto (percebi que especificamente ele) tinha um cheiro de umidade, mas há ventilação boa que resolve o problema em pouco tempo, há escadaria, mas existe também um elevador, que na minha saída não estava funcionando, mas tem, pude deixar a mala no hotel posteriormente a minha estadia. Somente não há serviços extra, uma maquina de café... Eu recomendaria o hotel. Muito bom.

Um absurdo. Definiria como fraude. Local TOTALMENTE diferente do que as fotos do site. Sujo, com insetos, chuveiro que não funcionava e mau cheiro vindo do banheiro. A senhora que atende nada solicita e ainda empurrava qualquer responsabilidade para um outro funcionário que nunca apareceu. Impossível dormir bem pelo barulho e claridade dentro do quarto, que a senhora disse ser o único com banheiro privativo. CORRAM. Não se hospedem aqui.

Esta bastante bien ubicado cerca del metro y a pocas cuadras de la Gran Vía. El edificio es muy viejo y falta mantenerlo. Las ventanas no cerraban bien.

Perfect location to a good price
We stayed two nights in a double room with shared bathroom. The lady who welcomed us were very nice. The room vas simple but clean- just What we had expected. We would stay here again if we are visiting Madrid.

It was a good experience, the location, conditions and cleaness were great, The bathroom is comfortable and the best is the water temperature, just great. It has a nice wiev of the street and it's steps to de subway.

Poor welcome ,The reception doesn t speak english ,it was almost closed for the 3 days that i spent there , they were never there when we needed them, and the room was dirty, the sheets haven t been changed , bleach on the blanket... i do not recommend at all , you can find better

L'hotel è in una buona posizione: ad un minuto dalla Gran Via, a dieci minuti dal Palacio Real, e a una ventina di minuti dal Paseo del Prado. La stanza è molto piccola, così come il bagno. La pulizia lascia un po' a desiderare, soprattutto per quanto riguarda il pavimento del bagno. Il bagno è ad aspirazione forzata, ma la ventola non funziona. Il secondo giorno del nostro soggiorno, abbiamo avuto la sorpresa di aver trovato la corrente dell'aria condizionata staccata, mentre fuori c'erano quasi 40 gradi!!! Meno male che il mio compagno ha trovato l'interruttore generale e l'ha riattaccata, perché nel frattempo non è stato possibile trovare nessuno che potesse darci spiegazioni di quanto accaduto.

Very Simple Hostal with Perfect Location
This place is very bare bones and it helps knowing Spanish. The workers can communicate in English, but you'll fare much better if you know Spanish. We had an awesome balcony and view from our room. It wasn't high up so it got loud at night, but we're from New York so it's not hard fallin asleep with street noise. The area makes this a good choice for budget travelers seeking simple creature comforts (like private bath, balcony, and a full size bed). It's close to Gran Via, 10-15 mins via Metro to plenty of tourist attractions, walking distance to many more attractions. There's a 24 hr bakery on the corner that comes in handy when you come back from a night out. They sell sweet savory baked goods. I would consider this hostal again. *Note: Wifi was terrible

Not impressed as the hotel was booked on the pictures on the website. They put us in a different part of the hotel. The rooms were nothing like advertised comfortable but very basic and not nicely presented. Would not stay again.

Habitaciones para dormir y poco más, baño compartido y ducha y pila incrustada en la habitación como si fuera parte del mobiliario. Muebles antiguos y la tele si estaba mucho rato encendida se iba el volumen, había que apagarla y volver a encenderla. En cuanto a las sábanas y toallas, toalla de la pila mugrienta y sábanas sucias por un lado.

La situacion del hostal es centrica por lo cual el ruido de la calle es bastante. las habitaciones no estan aisladas y el descanso es nulo. Podrian invertir en cambiar las ventanas. Las fotos de la publicidad no corresponden con la realidad para nada es bastante mas viejo. Pedi una cama de matrimonio y me dieron una habitacion con dos camas. El baño esta en el pasillo. El precio razonable.

Spend a little more and go somewhere better
We stayed here for 3 nights and had a double room with a shared bathroom. It was difficult to find as there are no signs at all for the hotel, not even on the door. So you must have the address number written down for sure to find it. The room itself was spacious and clean, and the bed was quite comfortable as well. It advertises that it has air conditioning, and IT DOES NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING. Even though there is an air conditioner in the room, it does not work, and when we asked the staff about it (who knew not a word of English), she laughed and said there is none. The bathroom was small and had a dirty mop bucket in the corner of it at all times with mop water in it. There were multiple times during our short stay where there was no toilet paper to be found in the bathroom whatsoever. The times the bathroom would be cleaned would be around 9-10 AM, right when everyone is getting ready for the day, which seems very inconvenient. The location is good, extremely close to the metro and a walkable distance to many attractions. Overall, we do not recommend this hotel - spend a few more dollars and go somewhere else.

En mi caso, hubo un problema con la reserva: reservé una habitación doble por un precio y al llegar no aparecía dicha reserva y tuve que pagar un poco más. De resto todo bien: La habitación estaba muy limpia, bien amuebladay decorada y con los servicios que se anunciaban.

Bien situado (cerca de una parada de metro) pero servicio de habitaciones inexistente: no recogieron ni hicieron la habitación a pesar de salir a primera hora de la mañana y volver a última de la noche. Además sin armario y sólo una barra en la pared para colgar la ropa e incluso en algunas zonas de la pared se veían humedades. Baño completo (con ducha) pero minúsculo y apelotonado, casi imposible de moverse en el interior.

I was staying for a short break with my girlfriend. Madrid is a city we both know and love and the hostel is well placed just by Malasaña which is a vibrant and beautiful neighborhood. The room was great with incredibly welcoming and friendly staff. The only minor downside is that there is a noisy main road alongside the hostel so if you have a room facing the road you will hear it. However it really is not too much of a problem if you can deal with a little background noise. The room was clean and well kept, was great value and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. I would definitely recommend.

Misadventure.......
The bath, washroom, shower requires a serious update. The twin level tub/shower unit could be considered a danger. Small space, slippery surface. I had to take care moving around in there, and I'm only 140 lbs..... would hate to be big and using this. Lack of electronic plugs-ins and existing ones rather old, which do not hold plugs firmly for charging is a serious issue. Plug-in in washroom less than two feet from sink. A distinct danger, especially @ 220volts. Stairs leading to upper floors (although we did not go past 2nd level) showed distinct wearing out pattern and could potentially be a danger if wet or soapy. Door locks for rooms do double bolt, but door fitting and lock mechanics seemed quite old and easy enough to break into.

la cama es de matrimonio , pero muy muy pqueña . El primer dia nos limpiaron la habitacion y el segundo y el tercer dia no nos limpiaron la habitacion. Nos comentaron que se hace hasta las 14.00 . Salimosa las 9 de la mañana volvimos a las 15.00 h y no nos la habian hecho. Sali a preguntar que pasaba y que nadie sabia nada.Ademas la habitacion tenia una ventana al patio interior que ni se podia abrir. Acabamos de venir y no estaba la calefaccion en marcha.
