We had to change rooms because the TV would not work but that’s not the worst of it the morning after we had already slept we found multiple bedbugs in our bed
Run far far far away from considering staying here.

We are truly sorry to hear about your experience. This is actually hard to believe because we have never gotten complaints of bed bugs before. Furthermore, each of our comfortable mattresses have bed bug protectants on them.Orkin Pest Control comes by the hotel periodically and on a regular basis to spray for bugs and anything that would make our guests uncomfortable. This is definitely not the level of service we strive to provide. Rest assured, we take matters like this very seriously and will address them immediately. We'll work diligently to rectify the situation, if bedbugs were in fact present. Your feedback is invaluable, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention.
Tv remote did not match tv so could not get digital channels like 20.1 etc. Disappointing

The towels were not wash properly. I was about to wipe my face and notice red and stains on 1 towel and picked up another towel and that one had dirt all over it. At that point, I just took a t-shirt from my bag and dried myself off.

Cliff, We simply just do not put soiled linens in our rooms. If that were the case, you would see many more reviews to the same effect.
The room was freezing and the toilet did not work.
Had to finally request another room.
Following day key did not work on the door. Went to front desk to find out none of the keys were working and had to get someone to open the door. And went back on Saturday after funeral, room was never cleaned. Room was put at 90° and still never got warm. Will not be staying here again.

With how cold it's been lately, it does the take the heaters to warm up a bit longer than usual, but rest assured they are all in great working order.Computers were updated while you were here, all the keys work-just had a technical hiccup!Housekeeping is upon request and placards are placed in the room to this effect-sorry you missed it. We encourage all of our guests to communicate with us that so we may provide them with nothing short of an exceptional experience.
Everyone was very friendly! My ESA Reesie was received with open arms which made me feel very happy as she is part of my life. My husband and I will be visiting Maggie Valley again and we will be staying here for sure.
I would just ask that they do better on making sure they double check the bedding and towels are free of stains and that the shower curtain does not have mold.
That was very disappointing but was made right by housekeeping.

was close by every attraction. ski, ashville, casino. front desk was very kind and wonderful. had a great time at the mexican restaurant at the hotel. would defintely stay here again if i ever visit maggie valley

The hall was so cold! No heat... and the room was cold but it got warmer within 15 minutes but the bathroom was still cold.. no heat inside the bathroom..breakfast wasn't that great..

Thanks for your review. We are working diligently to get our hallways to be warmer. With the building having been built in '73 and colder temperatures, we have made it a priority to work on a solution for this.It does take a bit of time for the rooms to warm up and because of your review, we have made it a point to turn the heat on for guests on colder days so that they can enter it a cozier room that's more comfortable. We're all about guest satisfaction and your feedback helps us to make the guest experience that much sweeter!
The outside is a little dated but the rooms and other amenities have been renovated nicely. Everything was clean. I loved that there was no carpet in the rooms; and we saw the cleaning service moping when a family checked out. You can tell they want to keep the place looking nice. There is even a Mexican restaurant on property that was decent. It would be really nice in the summer with the pool and pool side bar open.

The rooms smelled dirty as so did the pillows and covers. Shower water came out brownish when first turned on. And the breakfast was very limited not good honestly. We were greeted by a young lady at the front desk, she was very nice. But hotel was not worth for its price. Elevator smelled horrible and needs renovation
Front desk agent I think Amanda or Amber was very helpful. Had a bit of an issue with the arrival date being wrong. She was very calm and helpful getting things fixed.
We had a wonderful time. Our room was very nice an it was clean and the beds were very comfortable.

Check in was a disaster, at least in part on the fault of expedia. They did not have ours or several other guests resrvations from expedia which created chaos. Overall the property was good. Breakfast had fewer options than the other CLarions Ive stayed at. There were numerous dogs i the hotel, amny barking continuously as guests left their pets unattended against house rules.

Michael, We are sorry that your reservation did not come through and we are attempting to resolve this with Expedia so we do not inconvenience those guests that have booked 3rd party.Because of the power outage we had for a few hours in the morning, the pets that were staying got scared and Management requested for pet parents to calm their pets. Perhaps the next time you visit Maggie your stay will be more seamless and we hope for the opportunity to serve you better again in the future.
hotel may have gotten a remodel, but the elevator feels like it's falling apart. the doors dont go to the bottom of the floor so you can smell the room next door smoking weed into your room, walls are thin, ceilings are all cracked and falling down.

Otissa, To begin, it was your elderly parents staying in the room. Housekeeping was by to change sheets after they found that they were soiled with what seemed to be urine. Housekeeping along with our front desk agents also did take sympathy to your situation and took it upon themselves to comfort your parents by asking them if it was okay to make up the bed once again and with towel delivery while your mother was present.There was no medicine stolen from the room. Our hotel has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to things of this sensitive nature. Any medication that is recovered from any room is immediately brought to the front desk and if it isn’t claimed in time, turned into the Sheriff’s office for proper disposal.The hotel maintains that nothing was taken from the room. The hotel further maintains that we did everything in our power to make your elderly parents feel at ease, safe and comfortable during their stay. Thank you.
Howie, That’s just how we roll. The hotel has been known as the motorcycle center of Maggie with its biker friendly accommodation and on-site restaurant. Hotel rooms seem to be updated but tv was entirely to small (32"), shower hot water seemed to fluctuate without warning, hallway carpet was aged and just needed an update. Location was great as well as the front checkin staff.
