“We were very much made to feel welcome with a cup of tea and home made scones to begin with. The bedroom had a lovely view of the lake and was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was also excellent with a lovely traditional fry and homemade banana bread on offer. The owner was friendly and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this B& B”

“First visit and will definitely return. Staff are really friendly, room was spacious and spotless. Proximity to all amenities was perfect. Food was excellent and portions were great. My only concern was the lack of knowledge and consideration for people with coeliac disease, that was the only negative factor. Thank you ”

“Had a lovely stay with my husband. Staff were superb. Concierge picked up from our lodge and drove us to the restaurant since it was raining. Had a lovely meal in the Lakeside Grill. Breakfast was fantastic. Stayed in a lake view lodge suite. Very spacious. Some areas looked a little tired and could do with a refresh in the lodge. ”

“The breakfast was unreal rooms really good and the best thing that there was a fridge in the room very handy, good parking place, staff excellent would stay again the only thing that I didn't like if your staying on second floor that's family rooms I would stay on 3rd floor it was to noisy at night children running around about late at night ”

“It was a beautiful location. The cottages are well equipped. There was a bit of a musty smell. I think that could have been the carpets in the bedrooms and sitting area. Wooden floors would be more hygienic. Having the hotel so close was the effect for the leisure centre and bar! A great weekend all considered and I will be back!”
