โWas on a single day work trip. Needed super early check in. They did everything they could and made it happen. It was probably an exception, but I appreciated it, all the same.โ
โA nice hotel with a big pool even though the pool area isnโt welcoming at all (nowhere to sit, no towels etc). Iโve seen some comments on stuff in previous reviews, Iโd say that they were friendly in Indian standard. Good area close to the bus station. WiFi not working. โ
โStayed for one night as a stop over so didn't really get to explore the area but the room was lovely, large and airy. Large bed, towels and soap provided along with drinking water. A mosquito plug was provided. The bathroom was great, really clean and toilet paper was provided. The manager Shya (sorry if it is spelt wrong) was lovely, really helpful and made sure we were comfy. A booklet with things to do in the area was provided with some history of Kottayam which was nice to read.
The only...
โA comfortable stay with really good food! The 2 bedroom suites are great when youโre traveling with family, as there is a large living area to get together.
The only problem we encountered was with extremely loud music coming from an adjoining property. I guess there was very little our hotel could do about that!โ
โI stayed 1 night here.
really beautiful atmosphere. sunset cruise very nice.
However, they claimed 2500 rupees for using jacuzzi with spilling wine.
The water in jacuzzi is reused by there own purification system which is uninformed.
That one is only disappointment in staying Kumarakom Lake resort.
Except for that, the atmosphere, really beautiful.
Thank youโ
โWe booked a pool villa which was spacious and allowed for an extra bed and selerate room for our teenage son. The villa was clean with good amenities, the pool was nice for cooling off when the main pool was busier but was a little small.
The main pool area was lovely and warm with view of the lake and much needed lake breeze.
There isn't much in walking distance but the main attraction is the lake and views. We were able to hop into a rickshaw for shops, ATM and bird sanctuary.
There is...
โIt was a great experience. A proper retreat and spa. I got a full body massage and so did 2 other members of my family. Will recommend to people for sure. โ
โVery nice, very helpful staff. Lovely propertyโespecially the villas with private pools. Good gym, good restaurant. Only downside is that itโs pretty isolated with not a lot to do nearby. But if relaxation is what you want, youโll get it.โ
โRipples Resort made our Kerala vacation. The food, service, and accommodations were all excellent. We stayed for five nights.
We had a bungalow near the canal. It was spacious, with a big living room, a bedroom, a small dressing area (I think), and an outdoor shower. It felt peaceful and private.
We did yoga on the last three days. I wish weโd started earlier. Deepa, the instructor, checked in with us and built routines that worked for our level. Iโm not usually into yoga, but I looked forward...
โModern resort built in traditional style, Beautifully situated on the lakefront. Helpful staff and excellent restaurant. Great value. Water access from parking lot which is extremely difficult to find due to lack of signs.
Highly recommended.โ
