“This is our second stay at the National Hotel. The property is charming and historic; however, both times, the staff have been unfriendly and seemed bothered by simple requests. We were not alone in the process.”

“It wasn’t our best trip but it wasn’t our worst. It needs to be advertised more clearly that there are no TVs in the rooms and that the bathrooms are shared bathrooms and the rooms are adjoining. We discovered that ALL the rooms on our floor had the same security code to get in which was concerning. “I like staying here when the cabins are available. We last minute booked so we had to get a normal room. We've stayed a couple of different times and while I really liked It the first few times this last time was a huge turn off. It was really dirty, It felt like we were in the middle of a remodel, there was a huge trash dumpster in the middle of the parking lot, weeds overgrowing the parking spaces, the bathroom shower had spots on the ceiling, floor needed to be cleaned. “We were placed in a room that smelled like urine so the staff moved us to another room. The TV remote didn't work and Noone could help fix it. They just suggested we move back to the original room.
