"Fantastic place. 150 m (2 min) to the sandy beach without stones with convenient entry into the sea. The apartment is clean, safe, modern, fully equipped. Totally renovated. Greek flavor in everything."
"**Disappointing Experience with "Sea View" Room**
We booked a "Sea View" room, paying extra to ensure we could look directly out onto the ocean, as advertised. However, upon arrival, our room faced a building, and we could only see the sea by looking to the side, which was far from the expectations set by the photos associated with our room category. When we raised this issue with the service desk, they showed us another room, but the view was obstructed by a large palm tree, making it...
"Very much enjoyed staying at this property. The location was perfect, right on the beach. The food was yummy and the staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything!"
"This was an amazing hotel. It was on a hill with plenty of space and a great view. Service was excellent and the food was excellent as well. I want to go back"

"What a beautiful hotel just minutes from the port and the central area. We easily walked over from the ferry, and it was simple to launch explorations of the city and its surrounding areas from this location. The staff are very attentive, and the drinks at the bar after a day of touring are well prepared. We also enjoyed a treatment at the spa, which was a perfect conclusion to our 15-day tour of Greece. Recommend if you are coming to Heraklion!"
"Beautiful surroundings, friendly and professional staff, and delicious food. The local cats were a wonderful surprise and also super friendly. There were numerous activites at the resort and a convenient bus to the beach area. Beach Comber at Stallis beach was beautiful, relatively quiet, served excellent cocktails and amazing food. My only critics of Village Heights were:
1. What is/is not included in half board is not well explained at time of booking - I only found out this information on day 2.
2. The power cut out multiple times daily. Only for a few seconds, so it never caused an issue, but it was slightly worrying.
3. The sign at the cats feeding station states they are neutered, but they are not; kittens ahoy! "
"We loved our stay (August 2025) at the Royal And Imperial Belvedere hotel. Our room was great, newly decorated and spotlessly clean.
The main dining area is really big and being able to sit outside meant you didn't feel like you were going to the same restaurant for every meal! Lots of fresh food options, the grill and the salad bars were excellent. The causal dining options were also great with a range of family friendly food available.
Having a separate bar area from the entertainment means you can choose a more peaceful spot in the evening, or get involved in the fun.
The pools are fab - a 50 metre pool on holiday! Even when it was busy it didn't feel busy. Plenty of sunbeds available around the pools or on the peaceful sun terrace.
Theres not a lot to walk to nearby and the local beaches are taken up by sunbeds from the bars, but we'd recommend a walk into Koutouloufari for a look round the shops or a drink in the evening."
