"The manager, Akins, went out of his way to go to buy hand soap for the room when we asked for some. Breakfast was included which we hadn’t known. Pool area is large and pretty. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping, beach. We dined for 3 nights at Knossos Taverna nearby. Owners were very friendly, cousins to manager of Golden Bay. Many menu options, recommend eating there. "

"We were stunned at how beautiful the property was. It had many restaurants to choose from, some of the best resort/hotel food we've had. Even an ice cream/crepe bar! Staff was welcoming, warm and friendly. The spa was great. I didn't want to leave b/c they had everything there on the property. Would def come back again and recommend to friends."

"This property is located just about 15 minutes walk from downtown. Property is surrounded by nice gardens and olive trees. The most disappointing was stuff, specifically, front desk and owners who run this property. I been traveling frequently, but never in my life I been experiencing that level of unprofessionalism. "Everything is exactly as you expect! All of the staff we have interacted with have been the most caring and attentive people I have ever met, especially at the Makuti bar day in day out they even recommended us some films to watch. The pictures of the place you see are exactly what you get. If you are like us and do not often experience people waiting on you hand and foot it’s a surreal experience but something that makes the trip So amazing. The dining experience - just WOW! Food I have never tasted to be so amazing! Always have the lamb medium rare you won’t regret it. Welcome drinks on arrival and they let you enjoy everything how you want to not how they expect you too. I can’t thank everyone enough for my stay it’s been something I’ll never forget and nothing will live up to this. If you have the chance to come - you won’t regret it!! "
