We are local and needed to stay here during a home renovation project. The rooms were clean and extremely comfortable with Aveda bath amenities. The service was wonderful, even when we were checking in extremely late. The buffet breakfast that was included was also delicious with many options. I would recommend this to anyone else who stays in Mount Vernon!

Love the historic nature of the hotel, and carrying out that decor in the rooms and it's proximity to other things in the downtown area. The breakfast was adequate, yet not exceptionally accomodating for someone on a gluten free diet.

We loved it and wished we were staying longer than one night! We plan to go back and stay for a couple of nights because there are wonderful day trips within a 35-50 mile radius! The rooms are beautiful and the staff very friendly and very helpful. I LOVED the lemonade that they keep going throughout the day. Everything was soooooo clean!!! Don't hesitate choosing this place to stay.
