Excellent location. Great Staff on roof top. Lobby staff especially the door openers were extremely glum. I felt unwelcome when entering the hotel. Maybe automatic doors could be a solution.

Clearly this property is a step above all others. From the guest service to the restaurant staff to the doorman. Everyone was very professional and courteous and polite. The front staff assisted in locating a covid19 test center which relieved me of all concerns. I truly enjoyed my stay and no doubt when in Maputo again thia is clearly my favorite place to stay.

Excellent property with risky service..
A nice hotel. Clean room and it is in excellent location. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was excellent. However service seems a bit in disarray and managers performance need to be checked. We had several people in out team and booked separately. It seems to treat us each differently. I also confirmed (by direct email) airport pickup as I was arriving late. To my horror there were no pickup! I thought this is exception. But another member had the same horror next night!

As expected for a 5-star hotel - not outstanding.
The hotel is as expected for a 5-star in that region - not outstanding. The restaurant is good, but a bit overpriced when compared to same level restaurants in the neighbourhood. The pool, gyn and rooftop amenities are good, but the pool is much smaller than I have expected. The service was good, very friendly staff always ready to help out - they have fixed the safer in my room and I've even borrowed an adaptor for free after mine burnt out. The room and cleanness was as expected for this hotel category. The only important setback was the internet connection. It was very slow every day and in one day it was completely off - in all areas of the hotel. The staff informed that there was a technical problem, but they could not fixed it on that day.

Espectacular
Muito Bom Hotel Aconchegante, acolhedor, pessoal eficiente, simpático, muito limpo, boa comida, bem localizado, com diversas atrações nos arredores. O único ponto menos favorável é o prédio em frente, que tira um pouco da beleza e da vista pra baia. Mas no geral nota 9.9.

Hotel Avenida - best business hotel in maputo
I regard Hotel Avenida as the best value for money in Maputo. Professional staff, good service and good business support conditions. The hotel offers a quiet and professional atmosphere and is located within walking distance from a big variation of restaurants. Also the inhouse restaurant and bar is good. Breakfast buffet is excellent.

The hotel was amazing. The staff are even better. From the time I got picked up at the hotel until I checked in and throughout my stay the hotel staff have provided excellent service and were very courteous. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room good size and clean The hotel is under renovation , continues noise, impossible to stay inside de room between 07:00 to 18:00. Hotel staff do nothing more than apologize. Internet slow.

I like it here
Hotel Avenida is always a good choice, good value for money. It is located close to restaurants and shopping malls, with friendly staff and good amenities. I have stayed here before and will definitely stay there again.

muy bien situado y comodo
El hotel está muy bien situado en la zona centro, tiene dos restaurantes (un tailandes y otro internacional Mundos) a 20 metros apenas, tiene un estupendo gimnasio bien equipado. El restaurante es correcto. El personal es excelente y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Los desayunos muy bien (solamente falta tomate fresco la mayoría de los días). Estuve 11 noches allí. La habitación es bastante amplia, la cama ancha y comoda. Limpieza muy bien. La única pega es la limpieza de la piscina, que tampoco es muy grande, pero se puede nadar. En alguna ocasión el internet no fue todo lo veloz que hubiera deseado, pero puede que sea un problema de mi ordenador. Por lo demás, volvería a quedarme allí si tuviera que regresar a Maputo.

Better then I expected a little oldish but rooms were big. Service was excellent. A cozy hotel in the heart of the city. Would return there.
