"Never have I had such a comfortable sleep! I started there, as that is the most important part of any stay, and rarely meets expectations. Hotel Washington checked every box. Friendly staff, clean rooms, stylish, modern amenities in historic setting, amazing food, conveniently located. And did I mention the dreamy feather beds? "

"The location is amazing! The Capital One Arena was in a 5 minute walk. Definitely could use some updating. Breakfast was decent. "

"Great location. No tea/ coffee facilities in room and toilet in room wouldn’t flush. For 4 adults we were given 2 bath towels and no hand towels. Staff were perfunctory and not particularly helpful. Good budget option if out and about but not great. Resort fee charged is ridiculous when pool etc all closed when we were there but it was mandatory so paying for nothing! "

"It was like going on a historic tour, but it was your hotel. I felt like royalty while I was there. The restaurant had small private rooms that were used for gov't meetings. The private garden was beautiful. Go and enjoy!"

"The heating and cooling in my room did not seem to work. The room was extremely warm and humid when I checked in and at night the temp would drop to 65. However, the staff was great and the patio and bar were fun. It is a cool place to stay when in DC."
