"Very convenient for the international terminal at Melbourne Airport. Reception staff friendly and efficient. Room clean and bed comfortable. Bathroom arrangements unusual, with separate w.c. and shower room. Hand basin in the bedroom. Being close to the airport there was a smell of aviation fuel in the bedroom, which was not pleasant. (Window closed)."

"Me and my partner loved our stay here! The staff were so lovely and accommodating. We only stayed a night as our flight was early hours of the morning and we found this super convenient. Just one stop on a bus ride and we were at the international airport! The bed was super comfy and offered us a great night sleep before our 30 hour journey home!"

"The room I stayed was very spacious with 1 Queen + 3 single beds equipped. The bathroom was also oversized wheelchair accessible design. The building itself was a bit dated but served the purpose well. "

"The check in was not welcoming and it felt like they were doing us a favour. Check in was 3pm and we were emailed to advise our room was available an hour early so that was appreciated. P"

"Wonderful view of the bridge and harbour. Coffee shops, restaurants and a supermarket close by. One complaint we had was the sound of trains underneath the hotel, although we did get used to this, and the trains did not run all night. The staff was very helpful. The restaurant had a very limited menu. We did not sample the breakfast buffet but chose to visit restaurants in the area."

"I rarely give 5 star review for hotels as I am super picky , but honestly Paradox Sydney was amazing. It truly felt like a 5 star hotel, such a stress free experience. Starting with the staff (reception, concierge, bag helpers, housekeeping, restaurant/breakfast staff) everyone was so kind and helpful. Anything you needed they were always there to help. We stayed in the atrium queen room, the atrium view was okay, but the room itself was so spacious. Air con worked well and it was sooo quiet. Loved the bathtub and overall cleanliness of the hotel, being a 1800s building. Buffet breakfast was perfect, the servers were all so professional and accommodating. Selection was great, a good mix of everything and a fresh egg/omelet station. Fresh French press coffee for the table. Almond milk/dairy free options and honestly the best chia seed pudding I’ve ever tried. Housekeeping was really good, everything was spotless and refilled everything daily. We dined at the Fax bar almost daily, food was so delicious (try the shrimp dumplings ) and service was top notch. Will 100% be back once we visit Sydney again . Don’t have enough text for this review but definitely book your stay here if you’re looking for a classy , great service and comfortable stay right in the center of downtown Sydney"
