정말 만족한 숙소!!!
긴 말 필요 없습니다. 2주간 이탈리아 여행 중 최고의 숙소 였으며, 남부 여행의 정점을 찍은 호텔 입니다. 가족 모두 너무 만족을 하였으며, 지급 한 금액 이상의 만족을 얻었습니다. 동굴 호텔을 경험하며, 청결함, 숙소 위치 등 무엇 하나 빠지는 것이 없었습니다. 이 호텔이 너무 좋아, 1박을 더하고 마테라에 머물고 싶었지만, 일정 상 어쩔수 없이 이동을 해야 했습니다. 다시 마테라에 오고 싶을정도로 너무 아름다운 도시에, 호텔까지... 신혼여행, 가족여행, 효도 여행 등 어떠한 형태의 여행이라도 이곳에서 하루 묵으신다면, 일행 모두에게 큰 선물이 될 것 입니다. 물론 다음 이탈리아 여행을 계획 한다면, 마테라, 이 호텔에 다시 올 것 입니다. 예약이 가능하시면 무조건 예약을 하시고 경험 하실 것을 추천 드립니다. (차량을 이용하여 마테라 방문시, 호텔 지정 주차장에 주차를 하시면,-주차비 유료- 호텔까지 차량 서비스 제공되어 편안하게 이동하실 수 있습니다. 계단을 번거롭게 이용하실 필요 없으십니다.) 또한 광장으로 이동시 뒷문이 있어, 광장까지도 빠르게 이동 가능합니다.

추천합니다.
객실이 깨끗하고 물이 잘 나왔고 인테리어도 멋집니다. 조식이 좋았습니다. 위치는 사씨 중심이라서 관광하기 좋았고 주차가 걱정되었으나 20유로를 내면 주차, 체크인 체크아웃 할 때 셔틀 서비스까지 제공해줍니다. 저희는 별관에서 지내서 본관과는 거리가 좀 떨어져 있었지만 가는 길이 전망이 좋고 아름다워서 걷기에 좋았습니다. 수영장도 관리가 잘 되어 있지만 수영장이 좀 비싸다는 생각이 들었어요. 그래도 동굴에서 수영하는 기분이 들어 좋았습니다.

특별한 분위기의 호텔
사시 지역에서 숙박 원했고 선택했어요. 너무 깊숙한 곳도 아니어서 혼자 다니기도 좋았습니다. 스파를 이용하지 못해서 아쉬웠고 데스크 직원들이 알려주는 정보들도 알차고 친절하고 좋았습니다. 객실 내부의 시멘트 냄새?가 조금 아쉬웠어요.

Unique hotel in unique city. Amazing breakfast and special spa (additional cost). Staff super helpful. So much to explore we only scratched surface in 2 days. City has stairs EVERYWHERE . Tibetan bridge a nice hike nearby.

Ho soggiornato per una notte e siamo stati benissimo. Servizio impeccabile, colazione abbondante e squisita, personale gentilissimo, servizio navetta efficiente, ambienti pulitissimi, comodi e caratteristici. Non abbiamo provato le terme ma di sicuro saranno all’altezza delle aspettative! Credo sia l’unico hotel che ha la possibilità di dormire in una casa grotta. Noi abbiamo scelto la depandance ed è risultata per me e la mia famiglia comoda e accogliente.

Unique hotel in an amazing location. Lots of walking but it is the only way to see Matera. I had 3 requests when I made my reservation a few weeks ago and none of those simple requests were met upon arrival. The night front desk employees (Antonio) were NOT welcoming, hospitable or helpful. Did not even offer to take the luggage to the room. The daytime front desk person, Elena?, was the able to switch our room to be next door to our children the next day without hesitation. Despite the unfriendly attitude of the other front desk staff, the hotel offers a interesting experience

We loved our stay at Locanda San thermae. It was a beautiful experience to sleep in a cave room in the sassi di Matera. You really feel like you are living in another time period but still have the modern luxuries and amenities. The spa was also beautiful and a great experience.

Ottima posizione per alloggiare all'interno della zona a traffico limitato nel cuore dei sassi. Il garage consigliato per parcheggiare l'auto per due notti e' comodissimo e a 5 minuti a piedi. In ogni caso c'e' una navetta offerta dall'hotel che e' stata chiamata direttamente dal personale del garage. Comoda per non fare troppe scale con i bagagli. Matera e' magica. Visitare i sassi e' molto suggestivo, tutto e' a pochi minuti a piedi, ma a volte faticoso per i tanti scalini. Pero' ne vale la pena. L'hotel ha stanze molto carine a mo' di grotta ma con le dovute comodita' e pulizia. Altro aspetto positivo e' la spa, che pero' consiglio di evitare di sabato. Non era molto rilassante con le tante persone che parlavano alta voce tra loro. Peccato. Colazione offerta buona e abbondante. Consigliatissimo!!!

Beautiful view but be aware!
The dirt from the cave sifted down onto the bed and floor. Bathroom was cramped. Barely able to fit through the shower door. Mold on the bathroom ceiling was disquieting. For a place that sells themselves on their service, their service was TERRIBLE! View was magnificent! Location was unbeatable! Breakfast was really good. Maneuvering up and down stairs was very difficult so be aware!

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, struttura situata nel centro storico della città di Matera, spettacolari le camere in grotta come pure tutta la struttura della SPA, ottima e ben diversificata la colazione, personale più che disponibile e cordiale. One of the best experiences within Matera
I think this was one of the stays within Sassi with one of the most beautiful views of the old town. The spa and sauna (although not complimentary) was a very good experience after a long journey of travelling and hiking through nature. It was quiet and not to crowded, so you could completely relax rest up. The rooms in the cave, although the room temperature was somewhat warm, everything was clean an allround great unique experience with the terrace and city view. I would comeback here again, if I was to return to Matera.

Deberían dar más información sobre la llegada. La calle es un callejón sin salida. Al preguntar en la recepción dónde aparcar, nos dijeron que fuéramos a un aparcamiento que estaba cerrado por obras. Tuvimos que encontrar uno nosotros y volver al hotel andando con las maletas. Muy mal organizado. A la salida sí nos llevaron en coche, pero era más importante la llegada, cuando llegas a un sitio que no conoces. Poco amables.

We really loved staying at the Locanda San Martino. The explanation in writing and when I called in regards to how the parking worked, as there is no parking in this area, were spot on and very easy and comfortable to deal with. Our room was simply beautiful! We were a group of three sisters and they accommodated us with three beds AND an early check in. Lovely linens, wonderful bathroom with a tub and hot water, sparkling clean. The pools were very enjoyable. If we to ever return (fingers crossed) we would go later in the evening as the water seemed to warm up the later it got. We went right at 5:30 pm and the waters were on the cooler side. But, no matter, we loved the experience. Lovely breakfast in the morning!!

Bella struttura all'inizio dei Sassi, camera comoda e spaziosa. Colazione migliorabile, buon servizio alla reception anche se mi hanno mandato una navetta anziché un taxi standard e ho pagato 20 euro per una corsa di 8 minuti fino alla fermata del bus.

Lovely hotel in the Sassi
Enjoyed our stay in this cave hotel. We had a Junior Suite which gave us plenty of space. Shutters kept the heat out. Breakfast is a buffet with a choice of anything you might need. 15 minute walk from the station. We didn't use the thermae - bit pricey. I was surprised to find a fair amount of dust on bedside table and ants on the floor.
