"Staff was really helpful about ferry schedule to nearby Islands and bus schedule to nearby beaches. They made a lot of helpful suggestions and everything was very smooth. They were probably the most helpful hotel staff we experienced in Japan, and we enjoyed talking with them. We tried the breakfast in the cafe one day and it was good. Would absolutely stay there again."

"Very convenient for early morning flight. Clean, room comfortable with all you need, Onsen was excellent with different temperatures, sauna as well. Only issue was only frozen food for dinner, bring dinner or eat at the airport. Breakfast was excellent."

"The Cabin was an amazing property - chic, comfortable, right near the Konpira shrine and the Kabuki theater. AND created and managed by a collective of young people in the town! "Kotohira Onsen Onyado Shikishimakan was 1 of about 8 hotels we stayed at over about 2 weeks in Japan. While all the places we stayed were good, this was the best. Their onsen is outstanding as were the meals. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to experience the Real Japan!"
