No real problems, the town lost water and I couldn't take a morning shower. Not the fault of the hotel.

Bugs
Little black bugs on the wall's, ceiling & beds. Big spider in the corner above the door that had been there for awhile. We stayed about 2hrs only because we unpacked left to grab food and when we got back found the bugs. My son found one first on the pillow and he threw it off, then found one in the bathroom sink, that's when we looked and they were all on the ceiling and walls by the beds. We checked out immediately. Hotels.com said they couldn't give a refund and the hotel wouldn't answer the phone. When they finally answered the lady told me she checked the room and there was no crickets (they we're having a huge cricket issue which if it was just those I wouldn't have any issue). I have images of the bugs in the room but still being told there isn't anything wrong with the room and no refund would be given. Stay at your own risk but the rooms are gross.

It was an older motel but considering what was there it was great. It was clean the lady manager was great. There were small issues like a broken ice machine and no coffee in the room but all things considered I would defiantly stay ther again.

Communication prior to check-in was excellent, friendly, responsive. The room was very comfortable, very clean, and quiet. the biggest perk for me was the HUGE bathtube! I took a very hot bath in what felt like my own private hot tub. Nothing could be better after a long, long day of travel. I wasn't at the Diamond A long enough to really comment on anything else, but it was just lovely to have great communication and a clean and quiet place to sleep for a very reasonable cost. had I needed them, there was a little 'fridge and a microwave in the room. Great to know for future visits. 5 stars from an old road warrior.
