Parador de Mérida
As usual this Parador is housed in a lovely old building. There are examples of antiquity all around. The public rooms are comfortable and spacious and the bedrooms have everything one might need. An excellent breakfast is served and there is a dining room for lunch and dinner.

The lady on the reception when I checked in was very helpful and welcoming. She spoke English which helped due to my Spanish not being the best. Even though they don’t do breakfast there (hot drinks and vending machines only) I was informed of a place that opens from 7am where I could get breakfast ...

Alora Hotel Mérida
Lovely new property. Very clean and modern. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Complimentary coffee and water was a nice touch. Beds were very comfortable and shower was great. Super place for visiting Merida. Close to all the sites and grocery stores.
