We only stay at this hotel for 1 night and regretted not staying longer. We arrived at the chateau by taxi from Beaune train station and we were greeted by a very friendly "butler-like" staff. He suggested a few things to do nearby, lent us two bikes to get around with, gave us two vouchers for a wine tasting session at Chateau de Pommard, and arranged a tour around the chateau with the owner.
The current owner bought the chateau in 2009 and restored it to its current state in 2012. The hotel rooms are very modern with excellent views to the nearby vineyard during the day and plenty of stars at night. The owner prefers to keep certain parts of the chateau close to its original character, thus the front desk, bar and dining areas still retains the original woodwork, paintings and floors. The owner went through the history of the chateau with us during our guided tour, and was very friendly and cares about our experience.
The chateau also has a swimming pool, jacuzzi and spa facilities; we only used the jacuzzi for our short stay.
Breakfast did cost extra, but the food quality was very good.
