“Uniqueness.. - the peak distinct and Lake District are near by. There is a glass elevator at this place - it reminded me of some Roal Dhal’s stories 📚 🎼📖📙. Many of the staff members were helpful, particularly on reception & the restaurant staff on this visit :) Cleanliness was not the best though, the toilets on the main floor and the conference area were not great. :( .. The leisure centre did not open at the times stated. Overall this accommodation was great, the restaurant is lovely...

“The property is very modern, wellmaintained and the staff are helpful. It is in a convenient location close to the train station and a 10 to 15 minute walk to the town centre. There is also a bus service from the train station. The area is quiet. There is a good buffet breakfast.”

I stayed in the Barn cottage and I cannot recommend it highly enough, the same goes for the food that comes out of their kitchen. I have already started to recommend Horsley Lodge to my friends and family.”

“The hotel is fabulous, the staff are incredibly friendly and the rooms are clean and luxurious. The only thing that could be improved is to fit air conditioning in the rooms. At night the room became quite stuffy and it's not possible to open patio doors at night. Apart from that - amazing”

“The room was lovely though the walls were a bit thin and I could hear the neighbours TV. The floors of the upstairs rooms were a bit squeaky but it was a fairly rustic building so to be expected. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The kitchens were out of order but they provided a superb continental breakfast.”
