“Very friendly, Nothing too much trouble, Felt very welcomed. Great "Pub Grub" although times are limited, Superb breakfast, Very clean and Comfortable room, coffee & tea making facilities included. Very reasonable price and excellent value for money. Would stay again when next in that area.”

“The whole hotel needs a revamp. Thread bare carpets, beds so uncomfortable very thin mattress, no heating in bathroom, poor choice of breakfast, staff unhelpful and always absent from their stations. This hotel has previously been given 4 stars which it definitely does not deserve. Will not be staying again. Noise at night from wedding parties.”

“I booked two connecting family rooms. Whilst the rooms were clean and nice, we saw an insect crawling on the floor. Also, the bathrooms were quite cramped, especially if one was 6 ft tall. My initial impression of the bathroom was good, but I found it to be too small when I actually used it.”

The pub itself was good for food competitively priced, which can be ordered thru the app (along with drinks) The drinks we had an issue with - there were drinks on the app that weren’t available at the bar, the glasses had lipstick marks on them so washing is an issue & we were served a Fentiman’s Dandelion & Burdock drink 6 months out of date so stock rotation is a problem here.
