โWe went for a family stay and it did not disappoint! Warm cosy and we were welcomed with fresh bread and treats left for us. Karen came down to check everything was ok. They also cleared snow from the awning over the hot tub! Great hosts this is are 2nd visit as a family โ
โHotel was located in a beautiful setting. There was ample free parking. Good choice of breakfast items. We also ate in the restaurant both evenings. The food was delicious. The bar area was cosy. Room was spacious with everything we required. We had to turn the radiators off though as room was far to hot for me. Not a bad point just personal preference, it was great to have the choice of hot or cold room though.

We had incredible consideration given to us by providing us with blankets for our trip to see outdoor evening performance of Kynren. Breakfast was a gorgeous plentiful full English. โA lovely country pub, with excellent, beautifully cooked food. The hosts are exceptionally helpful and friendly, and couldnโt do enough for us. Very dog friendly - we were able to have our Labrador with us when we ate in the bar. Bedroom quite small, but manageable. Situated in a really beautiful area, and within easy reach of Richmond, which is an interesting, historical town with lots to see and do. โ
โWe stayed 2 nights Thursday & Friday half board. The room very clean and comfortable. Breakfast & evening meal, food and service fantastic. Pool, sauna & steam room perfect. โOur stay at the New Inn 1730 was only overnight, and we arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. This is a welcoming & friendly pub, with restaurant and accommodation. The owner did his best to accommodate our needs during our short stay, and is still finding his feet a little having only recently taken on the business.
Food options were limited when we arrived, particularly for our two fussy children, so we did eat elsewhere that night, but the cooked breakfast in the morning was very good,...
โGenerally very good stay. Landlady made me feel at home and lent me a parking disc which gave me free parking until 10.00am the next morning.
Very nice cooked breakfast with cereal and proper coffee.
Only small issue was that the curtains let in more street lamp light than I'm used to. Blackout curtains would have been ideal.โ
