โI am very disapointed Hotels.com, how do you recoment such hotel as 4 star hotel? Hotel room was very dirty and smelly. That was my worst memory in my life...โ
โWe were extremely happy with our stay. The area is lovely and friendly. The property was spotless, cosy and welcoming. Many facilities supplied as extra too.

โOverall the building was smelly and they have room frangance everywhere to try kill the smell of the old, beauty carpet. Itโs a beautiful old building that needs to keep clean with dignity and pride.โ
โThe location looks like it leads a lot to be desired, donโt let that put u off itโs in a great location for the AO arena and heart for the extremely cheap price โ
โLovely staff, great location to stay to access Heaton Hall Bowls Club the site of the 2002 Bowls Commonwealth Games. The beefeater next door served great food during my stay.โ
โAwful smell, took a while to find out what it was; mouldy vegetables left in the kitchen cupboard. Floor boards upstairs extremely creaky; never heard anything like it. Every time we sat on the sofa it sounded like it was going to snap in half. Beds very uncomfortable, especially in front bedroom, your bum touches the base of the bed.โ
โWe were unable to access the property because the itinerary code that Hotels.com gave us wasnโt recognised by the hotel operator.
When we called Hotels.com, no one was able to answer us in real time so we didnโt get access to the property. Ended up sleeping in our car.โ
