"I enjoyed my stay at URBAN LOFT Berlin for the most part. The biggest pro is the location of the hotel, being that it’s within a short 10 minute walk to the main central train station. This made getting around the city so easy and convenient. The lobby area is very neatly decorated and inviting as a peer working / lounge area. Most times I couldn’t tell whether the people there at all hours were hotel guests or just random people coming to get work done. The room was minimal and efficient. I unpacked and felt comfortable almost instantly, as I needed a nap from my red eye flight upon check in. The biggest pro is the location of the hotel, being that it’s within walking distance to the main train station. Initially they assigned me to Floor 1, but graciously moved me to a higher floor upon request. The hotel staff wasn’t the friendliest, but coming from America, I came to realize that Germans aren’t necessarily the friendliest people in general. The bed was comfortable for the most part, but the comforter was odd. They gave me two twin comforters instead of one that fit the full bed. The water temperature was EXTREME! From iceberg cold to inferno hot. The shower head was pretty gross and could easily be replaced by the hotel. I could tell that the water is harder than what I’m used to as home, so the calcium and grime easily built up. I’d stay here again if I had to, as I had no complaints otherwise. The carrying bag they let you use during your trip was a nice touch."
