In the room, it was updated with new paint and furniture, but seems haphazardly done and there was still painter’s tape on the baseboard. Overall great cleanliness, though. The bed was AWFUL. However the front desk folks were super quick to remedy everything and get everything sorted out fast! A bit remote (so not walking distance to things) but really quiet and peaceful with great views! “Check in was fast & friendly. I like that the parking attendant showed us where to park & saved our spots when we ran errands in the car. The lounge was so friendly! Really good coffee in the foyer in the morning. We had a balcony room on the harbor. Shower was hot & good pressure. This is a classic New England motel style hotel. It could use some modernization but then again, maybe not ! ☺️”

“It's similar to a b&b but separate entrances for each room. Loved the breakfast delivered to your door. They also have ev charger. Everything you want to see in boothbay a 3 minute walk. I've been to b&bs where the hosts are overbearing and way too proud of themselves. We were left alone which i prefer. They were super helpful, but only when asked. Highly recommend. Views of harbor were nice but had to go to communal area. I don't think they have individual balconies but i could be wrong....

“I loved this little motel. It reminded me of traveling with my parents back in the '50s and '60s before the big chain hotels took over. Don't expect luxury.. It's not that kind of a place. Think knotty pine paneling and bathrooms with green tiles. The beds were very very comfortable and it's literally a 2-minute walk into town. One thing to note... Rooms 8 through 11 are on a bit of a hill and could be a problem for somebody with mobility issues so worth a mention.”
