โWe were pleasantly surprised by this property, and wished that our travel itinerary was such that we could have stayed more than just one night. Beth, the innkeeper, is personable and tends to every detail. The property is lovely and peaceful. Great dining options just a walk away, train to the city around the corner, and a lovely neighborhood to walk around and revel in the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright. Highly recommended inn. We shall reurn.โ
โThe room was spacious and the bed comfortable. I found the staff extremely helpful, especially the dining staff. The breakfast was ample with choices and the service during breakfast particularly noteworthy. The facilities are cleanโthe gym, the pool, the lobbyโฆi had a king sized bed plus microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator. The only minus is plastic and paper cups in the rooms instead of glass. The area around the hotel has many choices. I chose to walk a trail around the beautiful lake...
โWonderful new discovery for us. We were in Chicago to visit our son who lives in Wicker Park and discovered this fabulously funky B&B in Bucktown. It will DEFINITELY be our go to place to stay for future visits. Staff so friendly, everything about our stay was great, visiting with fellow guests over breakfast (pancakes or French Toast, which to choose, too hard, have both!) - just altogether wonderful. โ
โVery good hotel to stay with family, because there are kitchenetts and the inroom washer&dryer.
The neighborhood is very quiet, and there are lots of places to dine in or shopping flashly.
The most favorable was the free breakfast in the Gem museum right across the building! โ
โVery convenient location to restaurants, the beach, beautiful Loyola University campus. Well appointed rooms. Good breakfast options. Friendly, attentive staff.โ
"The stay was overall satisfactory. However, the hotel charged $50 for incidentals. They said it will be refunded within 5 business days, but still waiting after 12 days..."
