โThis B&B is a hidden gem. A perfectly lovely place to stay outside the bustle and high cost of Como. The host Elia is friendly and caring. He made sure we knew where to park, asked us when weโd like breakfast, told us about the area. Heโs a genuinely kind man. The place was recently renovated, with modern amenities. โ
โI loved my stay. The owner was very nice and welcoming. The whole staff were kind and friendly. The room was comfortable with a terrace over looking the beautiful area. There is roam to roam in the property. Itโs very convenient to town yet situated where itโs quiet and relaxing. โ
โWe loved staying in this hotel with its unique history and beautiful decor. It is a special place in a wonderful location and we had fabulous views from our balcony. The walk to Morcote took under 30 minutes with lovely views but you need to wear trainers as the path is uneven. We also enjoyed walking to the castle through the vineyards and exploring lake Lugano by bus and boat. We tended to get Uber taxiโs back up to to hotel as it was a steep climb ( cost 18CHF) โ
