The staff were super accommodating and nice. The rooms themselves were ridiculously hot and uncomfortable and the noise from the outside area into the room was unbearable. It was also hard to get taxis to get anywhere from that location.

Excellent breakfast, tiny room!

The hotel is in very good condition and had an excellent breakfast buffet. Highlight: You can make your own waffles! The room was tiny for 3 persons, we asked for a bigger room and the receptionist informed us that all rooms have the same size. There was no fridge inside the room. The outer yard is beautiful and you can have dinner at the neigbouring Hilton Garden Inn. The value for money was good overall.

Our entire stay experience at the Hampton by Hilton Munich City West, was exceptional from the check-in time to the check-out, the personnel was helpful, professional and friendly, always asking if we where ok, and if we needed anything. The room was super quiet, finally a hotel were we slept, also big and clean room. Close to München HBF, as well as local city transportation. We definitely will return to this great hotel.

The hotel itself is great. Comfortable, reasonable value, very well connected to public transport and with an excellent hot breakfast booking. Be careful if you have booked several rooms and/or amended s booking before staying though - check in was quite chaotic for us, and we were overcharged which took quite a few emails to the hotel to resolve

Well situated and great value hotel

Situated a 5 min walk from Donnersbergerbrücke station via steps to the side of the hotel, so was very handy for frequent trains to the centre. Twin room was lovely as beds were small doubles, with tea/coffee making facilities and a hairdryer/safe. One big problem was a lack of heat - room was so cold despite ringing down twice & staff saying they'd "reset" it.....read similar in other reviews. On the 3rd request staff did offer us a heater and additional duvet which really helped. Wouldn't stay again though because of the cold room. Breakfast was excellent with cereal, cold meats, fruit, pastries, scrambled egg/bacon/sausage/beans and a waffle maker. Hotel was excellent value with lovely ladies on reception. Very handy as on the direct line to the airport via either S1 or S8 trains.

Buffet is useless for a Hilton literally nothing All hotels in Munich is close to transportation. This is not special either. Bed was so sqweaky every time I moved I would wake up. Whole room needs to be renovated the furniture is like pre 2010 Wouldn’t stay here find something else is my recommendation Buffet Food was so bad it was all ham and random cheeses legit the fruit salad bowl had more water in it than fruit. The multi juice tasted like cordial would not stay here

Good hotel, bad food.

Hotel fine but the food was terrible. Arrived stone cold. Sent it all back and asked for it to be taken off the bill. Only when asking for my final bill did I realise they hadn’t. We were told that the food was cooked in the hotel next door, rather than on-site. Decided to order Uber Eats instead which arrived quickly and piping hot. Struggling to understand why the hotel are unable to do the same.

Very inconvenient location of the bed - the distance between the bed and the wall is so narrow that only a child can pass there. The bathroom glass wall is not wide enough to prevent water spalshing amd leaking. The location is great, the breakfast is very tasty, especially delicious bakery. Could be good if the breakfast included some plant milk or any milk substitute.
