Excellent for a family stay

We stayed as a family of 2 adults + 1 child (9) and found the hotel to be perfect for our stay. Location is great in terms of easy access to the Ostbahnhof station and buses and having supermarkets at our doorstep was a massive bonus. Room was very clean, very quiet and had excellent facilities. Free breakfast was great - it does get quite hectic but to be expected! Would definitely stay here again if we were coming back to Munich.

Great stay

I was visiting Munich on vacation with my wife. We were very happy with our stay. The room was clean and spacious. Its a newer place so the condition of the hotel is very good. The breakfast buffet, which was included with the room offerred a great selection and plenty of food. You dont need lunch after the breakfast at the hotel. The location is about a 10 min walk to the Munich East train station which has connections to many places. There is also a large grocery store in close by, which we didnt use much but could be convenient. Parking was 20 Euro per day and there were not really any other options, but if you stay inside the ring road in Munich i think you have to accept you are going to pay for parking. I would happily stay here again

The Residence Inn Ostbahnhof is in a great location - just a couple blocks from the train station. It was easy and quick getting everywhere we wanted in the city. The hotel looks pretty new and it's super clean. The room was spacious and had a great kitchenette area. We didn't experience any noises during our 5 night stay. We had lots of windows in our room and the curtains were so great at keeping the morning light out while we slept. One of my favorite aspects was the breakfast. It was such a great spread of German breakfast staples and some other favorites from other areas of the world. All of the staff was friendly from the front desk agents, houskeeping, and breakfast staff. I would stay here again and again. I cannot recommend it enough!

Really good hotel

There are a number of hotels in this area for the businesses that are here. I have tried the Moxy and the Adina and so far this is my favourite. The bed was comfortable (with a full sized duvet unlike the Adina with it's weird pair of singles) and there's hanging space (unlike the Moxy). The room was large with a nice bathroom that had everything you would need. There was a small kitchen but I didn't really test it out. The fridge could be turned down to zero so that it would shut up. Housekeeping didn't come very often. I was there for 5 days and they only came once. Not a problem for me as I hung towels to dry and kept the place tidy but something to note.
