โWhat a perfect place to stay in York.
A very easy stroll into York City. Everything you could want in a stay. Breakfast was very generous. And laundry dervice provided on request.โ
โGreat, easy access to major York tourist sites from the hotel. Excellent breakfast buffet with plentiful options. Near lots of either dining options in the old town and outside historic city gates, just down the street. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended. โ

โThe room was very nice. A couple of small things: 1- It would have been nice to know there was a flight of narrow stairs to get to room, 2- Bathroom sink is blocked by overhanging cabinets, toothbrushing very difficult, 3- bathroom door drifts open against the bed unless closed and then the bathroom is very hot. โ

โLocated in a very beautiful location within walking distance of several points of interest, such as The Shambles, York Minster, the City Walls, bars, and restaurants. The breakfast served in the morning is truly exquisite. The room and the hotel in general seemed very clean, in excellent condition despite being an old building, and safe. The attention and friendliness of the front desk and breakfast staff were exceptional!โ
โThe walk to the city was only 10 mins so very convenient.

โThe hotel was clean and conveniently located (about a 10 min walk from the railway station). It isnt super close to the city center (about 20 min), but the walk isnโt too strenous (no hills!). Would recommend.โ
