“Lovely little pub accommodation, the room was spacious and the bed comfy. I would have liked an iron in the room, and a more powerful shower, as well as an earlier check in. The breakfast was lovely, as was the owner. A nice little place to stay.”

“Excellent overnight stay. Our room was much bigger and quieter than expected after reading some reviews. Main area had a comfy double bed with plenty of space around it, bedside units, long dressing table and large tv. There was a big dressing area with clothes storage and then a good size bathroom. Rain shower was centred in the bath so one could move freely under the powerful spray. We ate in the restaurant and found the meals to be generous, tasty and very good value. Bar prices were also...

“Second visit and a very warm welcome once again, we stayed in the main building this time, plenty of stairs to room six, but a big room with a massive bed and nice views down the high street”

“Great place for football lovers. Beautiful building, Spacious and clean. Staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. There is history, memorabilia and pictures of English football history and current achievements. The spa facilities are awesome and the staff too. No regrets and will definitely return. Just one negative was that our room had a shower but not a bath. I love to have a long hot bath when away but they tried to move us but the alternative rooms weren't suitable for us....
