“After many years of attending this well appointed hotel finally i got an upgrade. The hotel is well situated for walks along Shakespeare's smug Trent. The Burton Bridge Brewery is over the road. Town centre a short walk. Parking more than adequate. I think if you can put up with the road noise of a weekend its one of the best hotels in town. “Had a great stay in CH2. Very spacious with everything you need for a short/long stay. The staff were very polite and welcoming. Great pool a small fitness room for a good workout.”

“We were really happy with our stay. The accommodation was very spacious - perfect for our family. Everything was nice and clean. Plenty of parking outside and it is located close to shops and places to eat. Great communication from the owner. Would definitely recommend and stay there again when we are up North!”

“Really nice looking property with easy parking. Food was excellent and location was out of the way quiet but still easy to get to. Some negatives was that the matteress was old and soft so you rolled toward the center and one of the receptionists had limited people skills. No conversation loke 'good morning, how was your stay.... anything and one of the advertised benefits of that roaring fire was not kept alight so any though of having a drink after dinner infront of it ..you can forget....

“Nice welcoming spa/hotel. Room large with plenty of space and amenities. Use of spa ( not treatments) was a welcome bonus, but you need to be out by 10 am and return after 5pm if you are there for a few days if you have the bed and breakfast package only. If you want to stay all day it will cost £70 including a 3 course dinner. Will stay again in the future 😉”

“Rummet var av relativt enkel standard, men rent och hade sköna sängar. Hörde ingen trafik, eller andra störande ljud. Den hade allt, förutom en toalettborste. Frukosten var bra. Man fick beställa den varma maten, vilket gör att den inte står i rumstemperatur. Det tog ca 10-15 minuter att få maten serverad och då var vi där under en helg med mycket folk. Medans fixade vi kaffe, rostade mackor och åt av den kontinentala buffén. Trevlig personal också, så vi kan absolut tänka oss att bo här igen...
