"Overnight stop on way home. Beautiful building in lovely grounds. We got there early but the receptionist was very helpful and we were able to access our room. Any issues we had were dealt with promptly and efficiently. The evening meal was wonderful and the breakfast was freshly cooked and there was a good choice . The room was spacious with a nice big comfortable bed. The bathroom could do with an upgrade but was fine for our purposes. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would certainly return."

"Basic but clean accommodation. Ground floor rooms more worn than first floor. Ground floor rooms on the front of the property can suffer from smokers outdoor noise. Useful, very reasonable overnight accommodation with easy access by car to Beaconsfield Train station. (The surrounding Service Station amenities continue to look tired and in need of landscape and building maintenance)"

"I was in room 304. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. However, a little dated and could do with a lick of paint in the bathroom. The staff there are fantastic though. They are incredibly friendly and lovely to talk to and really keen to make sure everything is ok."

"Stayed 2 nights. Double bed was comfortable. Useful having fridge. Shower could do with a bit more pressure, but was okay. Room was clean. Could hear people in other room talking, so expect some noise from other guests. No breakfast option. Only one host, who isn't always there so checkout process wasn't obvious. I'd stay again and recommend to others."

"What a friendly bunch they are at The Old Bell. Clear the new owners and motivated to make this a great spot for all. A truly warm welcome and great chat with the staff; all keen to learn and do things the right way. They really are a credit to the management. Rooms still need a little work, mattress on the bed was not great at all, but everywhere clean and tidy. Would happily stay again when in the area for work."
