"Room was good with 2 double beds, bath and shower and a mini fridge. Ideal for a family of 4. Beds and pillows were very comfy. Swimming pool was nice with a spa and steam room. If you have kids then you have to book a child friendly slot which I wish I’d known beforehand but we made it work. Play area was loved by the kids but urgently in need of repair and maintenance-falling apart in places. Restaurant was expensive for dinner and only English or Indian food options which seemed odd. The town is only a 5 minute drive and was lovely to go out for dinner there. 15 minutes from the hospital and this was he reason for our stay. Staff all polite and easy to check out too, plus free parking for those staying in the hotel - ample parking available. Would stay here again if we needed to."

"Stayed 2 nights. Double bed was comfortable. Useful having fridge. Shower could do with a bit more pressure, but was okay. Room was clean. Could hear people in other room talking, so expect some noise from other guests. No breakfast option. Only one host, who isn't always there so checkout process wasn't obvious. I'd stay again and recommend to others."

"What a friendly bunch they are at The Old Bell. Clear the new owners and motivated to make this a great spot for all. A truly warm welcome and great chat with the staff; all keen to learn and do things the right way. They really are a credit to the management. Rooms still need a little work, mattress on the bed was not great at all, but everywhere clean and tidy. Would happily stay again when in the area for work."
