Tried this Reservoir out for some kayaking, the "no wake zone" is pretty large and there were plenty of areas that branched into smaller lagoons, plus the water was beautiful. Even the choppy areas weren't so bad. Great place for water sports.

"We were greeted by an individual whose first words to us were you didn't pay enough but that is ok because your TV does not work. Then I was told that my amount owed was $30 less than what I already paid. When we went up to the room it was old, dirty not well kept, nor was it safe. The shower current was what appeared to be a Dollar Tree Liner (looked like a garbage bag) there were old tattered towels. Exceeded expectations

"I LOVED my stay at the Pines and wish I could have stayed longer. Already planning another trip that way next summer and will for sure stay there again. Tony was nothing but hospitable and provided so many nice little touches to the service. He sent suggestions for places to eat, brought donuts in the morning and went around to each room in the evening with a little tea light for the porch. Having the outdoor space to hang out in was perfect and the room was comfortable, clean and the bed was super comfortable. While it is true that the location is just off a Main Street, the sound of any traffic wasn’t bothersome. Highly recommend!! "
