Classical Hostel in NOLA
Classical building, modern interior. Very social atmosphere. But dining room is too small, hard to accomodate many people. Also, you have to take public transportion to get to French Quarter. 오래된 건물이지만 내부는 매우 깔끔하게 리모델링돼서 좋은 의미로 클래식함. 방문 당시에 굉장히 사교적인 분위기였음. 주변 분위기가 그리 좋지 않고 프렌치쿼터까지 가려면 대중교통 필수.

Thanks for the positive review. I think some was lost in the translation but it seems that you enjoyed our lively social atmosphere. Yes you are correct. You take public transportation to get to the FQ or Uptown or whichever destination you would like to reach. Its so great that we are located only 1 block from the transportation line. Also we are more than happy to help guests make plans and plan routes. Please visit us again.

혼자가서 숙박하고 느낀점
일단 객실자체는 마음에 들었습니다. 직원분들도 친절하고 좋았어요. 하지만 도시가 도시인지라 주변 도시고속도로(?) 같은곳 밑은 밤에는 조금 위험해보이더군요. 호텔안에선 좋았었습니다.

If you don’t mind sharing a room with up to nine others, this hostel is an excellent deal. Bed was comfortable, kitchen area was clean and welcoming, outside courtyard is pleasant. Well located one block off St. Charles streetcar line, close to local restaurants and Mardi Grad parade route. Volunteer staff person (Maelle) was particularly delightful and helpful.

It was clean and is located in an area where many attractions are nearby. What I didn't like was the loud music and noise throughout the night. Also, one of the staff memers had a really funky attitude when I returned to pick up a bag that I accidentally left behind. I won't be staying there again. I wouldn't stay there if you value getting a good night's sleep.

Mardi Gras WINNER!
A really good experience. Felt very safe, as a solo, female traveler. The owner and staff I really committed to guests, comfort, and worked really hard to create an option of community. Setting up a shade cover, and such for the parades on Saint Charles, and creating opportunities to go out with a group.

The owners were very involved with the guest stay. Really nice people committed to their business and making sure everyone is safe and having a good time.

Clean, comfortable, and friendly hostel. Bunk beds were cushy, bathroom was immaculate! It even came with a super friendly porch cat! Staff was helpful in tips to get around. Cafe Porche across the lot was delicious.

This house is beautiful! I stayed in the top floor private room, it was quiet and felt like home. It was so clean and thoughtfully furnished. I wished I could stay longer. The staff were kind and helpful. One of the first questions they asked is what I wanted out of my visit, and they responded accordingly.

I was really nervous because I had never stayed at a hostel and I didn’t know what to expect. I absolutely had no need to worry because this was an amazing experience! Susan made me feel right at home! I will do this again for sure!

Was very uncomfortable
I was so uncomfortable about having a mix room with ransoms strangers I didn’t know (including men) I had little privacy, and didn’t want to stay any longer because of the lack of privacy and uncomforte I experienced when in the same room and a weird man giving me stranger danger vibes….

New experience is diamond in the rough
Ive never stayed at a hostel before until after the storm but i was pleasantly surprised by how inviting and clean it was. I was very comfortable and enjoyed my stay.So instead of a lavishly expensive hotel, ill be staying at this hostel as a first choice rather than a only alternative.Highly recommend

The location is great! The building has an old style feel to it but was clean and comfortable enough. My first time staying in a hostel ever anywhere and overall, a good and unique experience.
