Property manager greeted us, was nice and welcoming. Great restaurant down stairs, Silk Road. Easy walking distance to other bars and eateries.

Little things can make or break a hotel stay
Bed was very comfortable. Only one chair on balcony, cigarette butts on balcony floor, obviously hadn't been swept off. Emailed owner about missing chair, heard nothing back. We ended up using a chair from the balcony next to us: if someone had been staying in that room, it wouldn't have been possible. Coffee service was practically non existent; no sign of any creamer and very little sugar. Burn hole on comforter of bed; was very noticeable. No one around to voice our concerns to. Room is very small, but that is to be expected in an older building. Attention to detail is important if you want repeat customers.

We are sorry for the timing, they were drawn in by heat and rain but we have since gotten the place fumigated and cleaned.

The guest house was in a reasonable location and convenient to the French Quarter. The room was in slight disrepair and the curtains were filthy which made me question the overall cleanliness

I loved having the balcony. Everything was clean and staff was super nice welcoming us to free wine tasting, which was only one sample but it was still nice.

Overall, very nice. Excellent location, walkability is outstanding. Loved sitting on the balcony, or in the common areas. The room was very comfortable, and roomy. I have one complaint. There was a rat in our sitting room on the first night. It was crazy cold for New Orleans, and it’s probably what drove it inside, but it was extremely upsetting. Luckily for me, my husband killed it. I was a bit disappointed in the response. No offer of anything - my husband sprayed the room with repellant, the hotel did nothing. They also didn’t offer any lagniappe to compensate us for having to deal with vermin. In short, thank goodness my husband was there to take care of it.

I didn't like the old nasty pizza laying on the sidewalk by the stairs. But that's to be expected in NOLA anyway

I loved every minute of it, everything is unique from the home like setting to the restaurant down stair where you feel like you are amongst friends. The cleaning staff was phenomenal always on top of everything we needed. We had no issues whatsoever and this is now our stay in New Orleans.

Truly the best ... showing the true spirit of NO!
The building is amazing and represents the true spirit of New Orleans! Room 1 is outstanding and should not be passed up! Very happy with our stay and now have a new "go-to" when i have to travel to new orleans for business. in my opinion, there is no better establishment!

Horrible Place.
Got a good rate. $90 for $150 ram. I would've been very upset if I paid $150 for this room. It was terrible. No hot water. Mildew caulking in the shower. Shower head stuck in a position that only a 6 foot five person could reach. Paperthin walls I awoke to hearing the people in a Nother room speaking clearly. Which means I have no privacy the night before. Lighting was horrible. Maybe one 40 W bulb in the two fixtures in the place. Could not see anything. The kitchenette had not one cup, plate, fork, nothing. No ice. No ice trays. No icemaker in the place at all. No water bottles left. Which we did not realize until we returned back from our outing. I called after we return that home owner was rude and told me that everything that I said was not true. Then continued to text me about how everyone who left the place. I believe they are paying people to give good reviews if they are getting good reviews. Do not ever stay at this place. Very cozy place where everything is prerry much self service. The room was small but good enough, parking is in the street but it seems to be a safe area. This hotel is very convenient. Walking distance to Bourbon street, decatur, French quarter, restaurants, grocery stores, everything you need.

Situé dans un quartier tranquille à quelques minutes de marche de la Frenchmen St. Nous avons aimé que la chambre possède son mini-frigo. La salle de bain est de bonne grandeur. Il fallait attendre au moins 3 minutes pour avoir de l’eau chaude pour la douche mais c’est un léger détail. Nous avons aimé l’endroit choix de ce qui était à notre portée pour le petit-déjeuner. Le système de code pour entrer est très pratique.

Awesome!
I cannot say enough wonderful things! Zak, Michelle, Gabriel were amazing! We arrived at 8am (check in was at 3) they stored our luggage for us while we walked around town and then had our room ready by 1130. The next day, checkout was at 11am but our flight back home was not until 6pm. They stored our luggage again so we could enjoy the French quarter. Hospitality was amazing! Room was clean! If we visit New Orleans again, we will definitely stay here!

Nice accommodations. The room was comfortable. The communication and check in was all good, different, but good. The staff was helpful enough. The restaurant was great! Enjoyed a fantastic meal.
