The Shocard hotel was unique, close to Times square and the theatre district which was less than a 10 minute walk. The room was compact but clean and nicely styled. There's no room service or ice machine but the Irish pub provides all the ice you need. The hotel provides a drink voucher at the pub for each day of your stay as well as discounts on meals there. NOTE: These rooms are very compact so if small spaces are not your thing this is not the place for you!

This is an amazing location with large room sizes and comfy beds. The only downside is our room wasn’t cleaned cause the cleaning lady lied and said we left our DND sign up. We very much remember taking it off because we knew they only cleaned the rooms every other day. However, the supervisor was extremely apologetic and unimpressed with her employee. Don’t expect the most impressive room you have ever stayed in but it’s very clean and comfortable. I will absolutely stay here again; how much time do you really spend in your hotel in NYC anyway?!
