The bedroom was a good size, the breakfast was pretty good, but the area is pretty dismal including the front of the hotel. Gives you a bad feeling when you pull up, although it gets slightly better from there. Good location for those attending the US Open tennis tournament. Also convenient to train station for the 7 to Grand Central Station.

Hotel is a good distance away from the city center of Manhattan with it being near Queensboro Plaza. The space is in good condition, relatively new, well maintained, and has a decent number of breakfast options to dine in. Room is solid and is what you expect from a solid hotel: clean, solid, and nothing that wows you.

Convenient to subway, area appears safe, there were people walking outside past midnight. Inside is clean. The double bed room was pretty spacious and had a fridge, microwave, iron, safe, a box of tissues - a nice touch. The bed stiffness is fine, comfy pillows. Bathroom/shower is modern. Breakfast is great, a nice gentleman is working there, readily stocked up food and drinks upon request. Not loud from the street at night. Overall, happy with my stay here.

Great location for sightseeing, only a 5-minute walk from the subway station. The room was clean and comfortable, the price was reasonable, and the breakfast was good. The surrounding neighborhood was not the nicest, especially at night, but overall I had a pleasant stay.

The breakfast was great! The mattresses were very firm if you prefer that; we don’t. We opted not to have housecleaning everyday, but when we asked for clean bath towels we were questioned and it was a bit of a hassle. They held our luggage before checkin and after which was fantastic. The area around the hotel is sketchy. Saw someone shooting up in a doorway right next door.

Perfect place to stay when you visit NYC. Only one stop away from Midtown using the Subway. Small room, but very clean and cozy. Having hot breakfast every morning is a plus. The staff was very helpful every time we had interactions with them. Beds were kind of hard, but I guess that's what we needed after too much walking in the city. I definitely would stay here again.
