The hotel is a bit older and and dated however, the beds are amazing and the linens and sheets are exceptional. They have really soft pillows and the cleaning staff is amazing. I stayed there for 20 nights every day. My bed was made, and it was just pristine. I would stay here again. It’s in a great location.

I was skeptical after reading reviews but was pleasantly surprised with how great our stay was at the Gallivant! Perfect location, everything we wanted to do was within walking distance, front staff made check in and check out a breeze and the AC was cold! As little time as you spend in the hotel room while in the city, the Gallivant was exactly what we needed! Only con is only one small elevator but other than that, the Gallivant is a great option!

Not aware of the amenities as I didn’t get a chance to use them however, my stay was surprisingly comfortable. Housekeeping staff was extremely pleasant and helpful front desk could be a bit more pleasant however full information provided. Clean, absolutely spotless hotel and central. Overall excellent value for money given the location!!!! See you again soon

This was a pleasant place to stay. We had a good experience there with a clean room and friendly staff. My 2 minor issues were a luke-warm shower one of the days and 1 of the 3 elevators that was a little “quirky” like not wanting to close the door for 1-2 minutes. Other than those things it was a good place to stay in midtown.

The room was very well kept. The drain in the shower was not draining the first day, we went to the front desk and it was fixed by the time we got back from walking the city. There were drain flies in the shower, but it wasn't that big of a deal. The cleaning staff was very considerate. The room was cleaned daily. Overall a great stay.

The location of the Gallivant is great! A very short walk to Broadway, Times Square, subway and more. The room was clean, beds were firm (which I like). However the elevator was extremely slow and door wouldn't shut properly numerous times which prevented the elevator from going. So much so, that we usually chose to take the stairs. The front desk staff and housekeepers were very friendly. I would stay here again.

Fantastic location and great shareable rooms - we had one bed and a bunkbed set up for three of us to share. Small spaces but it's NY! The front desk staff was helpful but a bit standoffish at first.
