A wonderful place to stop along Highway 1 or after a hike along Point Reyes National Seashore is Nick's Cove. Although it has a fantastic restaurant and bar the best thing really is to head out here to the Boat Shack, cozy up next to the wood burning stove, and dial 112 from the phone inside to have oysters and drinks brought out to you while you enjoy the sunset. The perfect little get away.
