โThis is an older hotel but itโs always clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This is a no frills hotel with great rates. We have stayed many times over the years.โ
โWhere do i start? Such a simple, easy, no-fus stay! i cannot brag more about the free, made to order breakfast; truly amazing! The private back porch, overlooking a beautiful, oeaceful creek! The staff is so friendly, and kind! I will be returning to this hotel every single time i come to gatlinburg from now on!!! 15 out of 10!!โ
โThis is an older property that had been previously remodeled. However the room smelled like cigarette smoke and overall didnโt seem the cleanest like the pictures prospective. Itโs also not really what I consider a walkable to the downtown area. Itโs a very steep hill and it should be added to be very aware of BEARS!! โ
โThis is the 3rd time my husband and I stayed at Brookside, and we absolutely love this lodge! Having a room that overlooks the creek is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. Their morning breakfast is convenient and tasty. Thank you, Brookside, for a lovely room. โ
โBeth went above and beyond for us; she deserves a raise!! She was more than happy to help us get into a room and make sure we were taken care of. We had a bad experience down the road with another hotel, and this Hampton inn really turned our vacation around!! Our room and the rest of the facilities were very clean! This hotel is a short walk from downtown, which is nice for shopping and all of the food options! We will definitely be back and staying at this hotel again. โ
โI was very impressed with the updated room. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the bed was comfortable. Our room had a double layer balcony which was very nice. The hotel is directly on the main strip in Gatlinburg, so walking the area and parking at the hotel were big "pluses". The only "negative" thing I have to add is that although the Expedia website said they offered free breakfast, the hotel doesn't have breakfast. I would definitely go back! โ
โWe enjoyed our stay and it was kid friendly. Walkable to all the dining and shopping options close by. Kids enjoyed time at the pool after a long day of walking. Parking was a bit tight but we were able to get a parking spot every day. โ
โThe property is well maintained and very clean. Our unit was ready and had everything we needed. Itโs located within walking distance to the strip and has a trolly stop right in front.โ
