FOUND COCKROACHES and SPIDERS IN OUR ROOM. IF YOU BOOK ON A DIFFERENT WEBSITE, AND YOU ARE NOT A MEMBER, BE CAREFUL. FRONT DESK DOESN'T LIKE IT WHEN YOU BOOK ON OTHER WEBSITES LIKE EXPEDIA, TRIVAGO, etc.
This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. From the moment I checked in, the staff seemed annoyed and RUDE because I arrived later than expected. The front desk has an attitued tone since I walk in. To make matters worse, the room was not clean. We found both a COCKROACH and a large SPIDER in our room. I HAVE PICTURES to document this. The security guard was RUDE. When we returned to the hotel around midnight, he had blocked off the well-lit side of the parking lot and insisted that I park in a dark area where I did not feel safe. When I brought my concerns to the front desk, I was told they could not help me and that I needed to deal with the security guard myself. The next morning, the front desk employee was rude when I called to ask about breakfast and seemed irritated that I had booked through Expedia. My mother was treated poorly as well when she went to get breakfast vouchers. My family has been visiting North HOUSTON for over 12 years, and we have stayed at many hotels in the area. This was easily the worst experience we have had. Between the rude staff, cleanliness issues, and parking situation, we will never stay here again. I can say that the hotel bar seemed to be popular."
