“We found this inn almost by accident. We were delighted! The staff were amazing and the innkeeper was very informative and responsive to all of our questions. The room was very comfortable, large, and homey. Breakfast each day was superb! When we come back to Bar Harbor, we will definitely stay at The Stratford.”

“Great location, super comfortable bed and sheets, delicious breakfasts! You should know that the air conditioners are in the window if that is something that might keep you awake and breakfast is only served until 930 if you’d like to sleep in, but we loved you”

“A perfect bed and breakfast just off the main streets of downtown Bar Harbor. Andy was the perfect host. Jeff was very friendly and helpful as well. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Wine and cheese with other guests in the evening was fun. Parking on property was great, you can easily walk anywhere in town. Don’t sleep on this one. It’s better than the other one you are considering. ”
