Hotel Riu Montego Bay - Adults Only - All Inclusive
4/10 Poor
"I liked the steak house, the golden dragon and the beach. I didn’t like the cockroaches by the oatmeal at the buffet, by the pool and in the hallways. Staff wasn’t friendly. Didn’t like that we weren’t able to have more than one beach towel. the chairs poolside were all dirty, some were stained with bird poop. Probably from the crows that fly around the dining area."
"I didn’t like the fact that it was all adult inclusive resort and things shut down early didn’t have more nighttime amenities as far as with the music other than the bar in the lobby the pool closed early every night"
"The room was everything and more. The view was breathtaking. I didn't get a chance to use the spa but I did visit over there and it was nice. There's not enough space to write the staff. So I'll start with Panda the bellhop and how he helped me remember where my room was. Danielle greeted me by name every time I saw her. Marcell was amazing. He remembered what hubby and I liked to drink by the pool. There's a server who welcomed us on our first day, who was simply amazing about remembering little details about us. Her name escapes me but she know she's amazing because I told her. Last and not least there's Marieka. Not a day or time went by this woman didn't speak or tend to a need of mine when she was working. Greeted me from day one by my name up until the last day we saw each other. Even helping others to remember my name. I felt seen, loved and most importantly welcomed. I was happy when I saw she was working. I'd tell my husband my girl working today. She left that big of an impact on me. I sat that to say this all of the staff was great and helpful I'm one way or another. Oh also the bartender that served us in the main dining room. His name escapes me too but he was awesome too. I would most definitely be coming back. Those that I highlighted and the rest of the staff made me want to visit again. Thank you all for a great vacation. It made my anniversary even better."
"Staff was very helpful when our airport transfer was incorrect. They quickly were able to reach our transfer service and get us booked on the next shuttle."
"The ocean room view was amazing , staff was great , food was amazing , this was me and my daughter first time out the country , and we enjoyed ourselves"
"You had to learn the switches in the room.As far as turning off and turning on things. there should have been a map as to where everything's were. A reminder board about
Activities that were happening during the day needed to be available. The lighting could have been better outside at night. It was a nice place. I felt like it took me almost two days to learn the place before I knew where things were. We had to take our luggage to the front at departure even though they told us to call before which I did 30 minutes prior and no one came or no one ever checked to see. It's about us checking out. No, thank you for your stay. The night before to remind you of what you needed to do. No one said thank you for your stay."
