“Very nice resort. Rooms were nice and clean. Staff very friendly. Would definitely recommend this resort. ”

“Loved the food, staff, pools and beaches. Only critique is this, the game room isn't up to your resorts standards. Get a decent pool table, a real ping pong table. A card table, a dart board and maybe some TV screens. ”

“The W is an absolutely beautiful property. The staff go above and beyond to make sure your every need is met while on your trip. The room was not only immaculate upon arrival but daily they made sure the room was spotless. The only downside is no entertainment in the evenings on property and not many dining options. We had to go to the Westin to eat dinner but not a big deal. ”

“We first visited Playa Negra in 1999. We are so pleased to say that nothing has changed! We love the rustic feel of the Round thatched roof cabins and how close they are to the beach. The rooms while simple and rustic were maculate and the linens crispy and fresh. We heart Playa Negra hotel! Thanks for keeping Playa Negra the same.”

“We arrived to the property but there was no one at the hotel, the lounge, bar and restaurant were close and deserted. Pool was durty, so we decided no to stay at the place because we also felt unsafe. Worst experience ever, I don't understand how EXPEDIA offers this hotel.”
