Hilton Cleveland Downtown

10/10 Excellent

"Located in downtown Cleveland, close to the sports locations and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. All within walking distance. You can always count on the HIlton brand and this location was no exception!"

"The bathroom had black mold. The bathtub leaked enough that we woke up at 1 am and the bathroom floor was flooded. The lighting in the bathroom was awful. At 2 am the fire alarm went off excessively for reasons unknown. Tried to call the front desk to ask why but never got an answer or a call back. We weren’t sure if we needed to evacuate or not. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The cleaning staff were friendly but the front desk staff were not always friendly."

"Really enjoyed styaing at this hotel. It was clean and the hotel was gorgeous. It was in a greta location - it's a 15 min walk to Rocket Arena, and a 15 minute walk to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Science Center. Recommendations, all within 5 to 15 minutes from the hotel: (1) The Browsing Room Bookstore and Cafe: Fantastic coffee, delicious pastries, and great books, as well as some fun, small items that are perfect for gifts or mementos! (2) The Winking Lizard: A bar and grill with great burgers, fantastic sandwiches, and a great selection of beers (with a lot of ales and local breweries), ciders, and cocktails. The drinks were really reasonably priced, and they have a large area to sit and eat there or grab and go (if you prefer to order and take dinner back to the hotel) (3) The Library Room and Cleveland Public Library, and the reading park: The Library Room has shirts, books, and Cleveland mementos for sale. All proceeds benefit the Cleveland library (what a great cause!). The Cleveland Public Library has absolutely beautiful architecture - stop by to check out the entry and gallery (it's gorgeous!), as well as the Hyatt's atrium next door (beautiful architecture!) (4) The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: You'll hear all about this one in Cleveland - and it was worth the stop! Very fun place to visit and tour. You can easily spend a whole afternoon here. (5) The Science Center: Close by and super cool! Makes a stay in Cleveland both fun and educational!"
