"Check in was easy with professional friendly staff. Pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to the main building. Staff were informative. Room was spacious with sweeping views over the Derwent River. Large bed with plenty of amenities including a fridge & pod coffee machine. Easy access to free parking. Plenty of options for dining in the casino depending on budget. A great stay on my trip around Tasmania."

"Convenient location in beautiful Battery point within walking distance of good restaurants, and the CBD. Good parking and great to have the kitchenette. Comfortable beds & good showers. Within walking distance of supermarkets in Sandy Bay. Have stayed at St Ives Appointments many times. Our favourite for Hobart accommodation, because of convenient location, useful kitchenette, parking and comfortable beds. The only negatives are a a little dated decor and some difficulty getting aircon temperature just right."

"Very happy with my Standard Queen Room: Spacious, with a comfortable bed, practical furniture and good lighting. To my surprise there was even a microwave, a toaster, crockery and cutlery, and a sink for washing up. The bathroom featured plenty of space to store toiletries and cosmetics. My room was very quiet, and I could park my car right in front of it. I also liked the convenient location near the Brooker Highway and relatively close to the city centre. And in the vicinity of the motel there are several bus stops for different bus routes to and from the city and northern suburbs. I also walked from the motel to the city centre and back a few times. The only thing not so good: The blinds let light through during the night. Best to bring a sleeping mask. I recommend Hobart Tower Motel as a pleasant, comfortable, convenient and budget-friendly accommodation option."

Queens Head Hotel

"We stayed for a week and had a great time, the room perfectly met our expectations. The bed was really comfy, wifi was great and the room was warm and secure, but the true gem was the staff members! Kat, Andrew and Caleb were so welcoming and friendly, Kat continually went the extra mile to make sure we were happy and had great communication anytime we needed it! And the food at the pub downstairs was phenomenal, definitely worth a meal. Will definitely be staying again, thank you :)"
