“Mattresses are a little too firm. Need better soap and shampoo. Need dispensers in shower instead of just bottles. ”

“The Hotel is quite interesting in it's layout. Having artwork available was refreshing. The building itself needs updating: carpets/walls etc. The beds were comfortable and the staff was helpful. We had a great breakfast at the Metropole ( connected ) and would eat there again. The parking was very inconvenient and expensive. I would not do that again”

Everything was super tired and it felt like a time capsule from 1983. Nothing had been updates except from the shower curtain (no hint here on the Bates Motel comparison). “Check in was a nightmare. The person behind the desk fell asleep ( or passed out) several times. It took 45 minutes to check in. I was given a key and initially sent to a room that was already occupied. So I went back down to the desk. But queen highness behind the desk tried to deny checking me n and told me I wasn’t on the reservation. ( for that room. No I wasn’t. But I had my own reservation.)
