“Cute, quaint old-style travelers Inn that had been nicely remodeled. Rooms are cabin-size with comfortable bed and pillows, tiny bathroom with a roomy shower, recliner, TV on a dresser, table and chairs, small refrigerator and microwave. Continental breakfast included fruit, waffles, cereal, juices, coffee and pastry. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Outdoor swiming pool and free parking. Lots of choices for shopping and restaurants in the area.”

“Though an older motel that might seem faded at first, the rooms have been redone and provide a really great night’s sleep. What seemed to be a new bed with a sturdy mattress made it a very comfortable stay. And, although on a somewhat busy street, it was remarkably quiet. Staff busy, but responsive. I didn’t swim, but others seemed to be enjoying the pool. No complaints. Clean, no frills.”

“What a lovely place to spend the night! Quiet little cottage with a comfortable bed and good reading light. Really enjoyed watching the sunset and walking the steep stairs down to and up from the lake. The town of North East is nearby, although I stayed on my cabin porch and adjacent picnic table for dinner. I would definitely return.”
