The "breakfast served daily" note in this Expedia listing is to be interpreted as served downtown in the restaurant of your choice (and paid for by you) LOL. “It was okay to stay at a hotel in Adelaide to stay overnight on the way to Melbourne. However, I think I should be careful in the shower. Hot water and cold water can not be controlled.”

“It was a different and unique experience to stay in the old gaol with the kitchen, common rooms and showers being communal - to learn the history was great. No amenities included in the room (room just including bed, toilet and sink) - though there was a great amount in the shared kitchen. The management Seriously need to get rid of that dirty old Sofa in the Matthew living room as it is awful with dirty spots and marks…otherwise it deserve a five star. Will nmot be suitable for elderly folks who will not be able to climb two flight of stairs carrying luggage up and down.”
