"The staff was the best part of this stay. The rooms was alright clean a little older hotel. Breakfast looked good but because one of the guest decided to put his fingers in the bacon holder. That ended breakfast. The rules of the manager about early check in is a bit overwhelming for every half an hour early 25.00 check in is 3 pm. Not realizing like myself I had just driven over 700 miles. there need to be exceptions because this is a stand alone in the industry to charge this "

"Room was clean. Staff was awesome! Manager on duty upgraded us to the executive suite when we told her it was our 15th anniversary and we were just having a staycation away from home. We ate dinner at the onsite restaurant Shrimpboat. Service was good but we were seated by a large group with a bunch of loud young children. We should’ve moved. We both had the seafood buffet which was delicious. The property is nice and relaxing. We had the free breakfast in the consigliere’s lounge. The breakfast was great with a variety of choices. The guy cooked us fresh eggs and delicious fresh waffles. The fresh fruit was so good! We live in Midland about 20 minutes away and we really enjoyed our stay. The only things I would’ve changed was the hot tub open or an in room hot tub and when I went to book a massage for my husband and I at the SPA, they could only do one of us at a time. One at 11 and one at 3. I specifically took my husband there for the hot tub and massages! Everything else was great though and I would recommend the hotel to anyone."
