โA lovely hotel with lots of different comfortable seating areas. Fantastic food and lovely rooms. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and the surrounding area. โ

โNice room very clean staff pleasant but bar area in need of a bit of love snd attention. Breakfast very good but placement of things s bit odd. Why is the butter with the fresh fruit section and not by the toaster and bread and jams !? Also tea making area very congested and when busy you have to wait a very long time to access the hot water/ coffee machine. โ
โWe stayed here for one night and it was perfect for that. The ladies in the pub are super friendly and we enjoyed the big breakfast and evening dinner. โ

It is only let down slightly by the quality of evening meals served in its restaurant. Note, the breakfasts were excellent but I will definitely return to try it again. โ
โComfortable room with excellent tea making supplies - and a good sized mug each! The floor fan was useful as it was very warm. The hotel kindly allowed a later check out with a prompt and polite response to our request. Check in was efficient and simple. The evening meal was superb - great value and the pavlova! Wow! Chefโs kiss! All in all - a beautiful historic building and a really enjoyable stay. We will return I am sure. โ
โVery nice hotel, tucked away in a quiet location surrounded by lawns and trees. We were in a room behind the main building which was very comfortable, well equipped and air conditioned. The staff were all very helpful and we will definitely stay again. โ
โWe enjoyed a lovely quiet couple's getaway while we went to the Ed Sheeran concert in Ipswich. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was very quiet and relaxing.
The town centre is in walking distance and has some really nice and reasonably priced cafes. There is a short walk to a pebble beach and beautiful gardens. โ
