My stay at Terra Villa with Celisa Ramos was very disappointing, and I would not recommend it. The surrounding grounds appeared nice and the check in process was easy, but several issues during our stay made the overall experience frustrating.
When we arrived at 4:30 p.m., the place had not yet finished being cleaned.While this was not a major issue for us, it was the first sign the property was not fully prepared. Once inside, we immediately noticed how extremely warm it was,warmer than outside. We adjusted the thermostat to make the space more comfortable.
As we unpacked, it became clear the property had not been properly deep cleaned in quite some time. The photos online also appear outdated, as the villa now feels older and worn. There were loose stair railings, paint chips and dents throughout the home, and closet doors covered in built up dust. One closet housing the AC system was extremely dirty, which was concerning to see.
The pool was a major reason we booked this property. Although it looked ok the water was about 60°F and completely unswimmable. My son briefly tried going in but his lips turned purple from the cold. When we turned on the heater so our family could enjoy the pool, someone came the next day to shut it off, turning off the breaker and locking it with a padlock. Another issue was the air conditioning. Each night the temperature was remotely adjusted through the owner’s smart thermostat to a warmer setting, causing us to wake up sweating.Book elsewhere
